01

Technique

Drilling fundamentals until second nature. Ball control and first touch under pressure, passing precision (short, long, weighted), footwork and movement patterns for coordination and explosive power.

02

Game Awareness

Teaching juniors to read the play faster, improve positioning, and make quicker decisions under game conditions. Developing football IQ so tactical thinking becomes instinct.

03

Confidence Building

Tracking progress visibly so players can see their improvement, feeding into match-day confidence. Every session builds on the last.

04 · Who it's for

Built for juniors at every step.

Ages 6 to 16

Juniors stepping up the junior ranks, or preparing for senior football. Drills scale with age and ability.

Club juniors

Players looking for sharper technique than weekly club training has time to drill. Runs alongside, doesn't replace.

Trial-window prep

Players approaching selection windows or trial timelines who need polish on specific skills before the test.

New or returning

Kids new to the sport, switching clubs, or coming back after time off. We meet the player where they are.

05 · Inside a 60-minute session

How the hour breaks down.

Min 0-10

Warm-up

Dynamic activation and ball familiarisation. Gets the body ready and reintroduces the player to the ball before any pressure work starts.

Min 10-35

Technique block

Touch, passing across short, long, and weighted ranges, footwork patterns. Repetition-heavy and error-tolerant - this is where reps build the habits.

Min 35-50

Game context

1v1 work, decision-making drills, finishing under pressure. The gap between drill and match closes here.

Min 50-60

Conditioning

Light aerobic work and cool-down. Builds the engine without burning out a developing junior.

07 · Common questions

Quick answers.

What age do you start junior football coaching?
From age 6. Younger players run shorter drills focused on fundamentals - first touch, passing, basic footwork. Older juniors run the full 60-minute structure with technique, game-context work, and conditioning.
How often should a junior train?
Most juniors run 1-2 sessions a week alongside their club training. Across a 13-week block we see measurable progression at 1 session per week. 2 per week accelerates technical development noticeably.
What does a junior player need to bring?
Boots, water, and shin pads (optional but recommended). We supply all training equipment - balls, cones, gates, mannequins, ladders.
Can siblings train together?
Yes. Two siblings on the same Small Unit session pay the sibling rate - $55 per session on the 5-pack Tune Up ($275 total). Many of our junior bookings are sibling pairs and the format works well for it.
Will you replace my child's club coach?
No. We run alongside club training, not as a substitute. Most of our junior players keep playing for their club and use our sessions to sharpen specific areas the club doesn't have time to drill.
